So… my method of collision detection is called bitmap-collision
Yepp, I learned that the method that I thought I invented for pixelperfect-collision is called bitmap collision detection. Anyhow I’m proud that I come to think of it myself, even though I failed to find a solution to the problem of finding the rectangle to check for collision in, instead I found i small library simply called bitmask written by Ulf Ekström. And it works just fine so far. I got it from this site.
I’m yet to implement this method for animated sprites, but I think that will be a quite easy task, thats quickly done.
I’m thinking of adding 3/4 layer-rendering making the games look to have more depth. I got the idea from this site, I really want to implement something similar in the future. If I have the time in the summerbreak maybe..,
Anyhow I’ve been a bit lazy, even though I really want to program all the time, it’s hard to begin. I’m the kind of person who want everything I might need implemented before I begin to work on the actual game. Sad, yes. Annoying as hell, yes. Necessary probably not.
I managed my exams quite well, the theory part was the hardest (it really annoyed me that they used the swedish terms instead of english ones.
Well thats all for now.
